The second-annual Battle of the Badges charity hockey game was held in Mason City on Saturday, Jun. 21, 2012. The game, which features Mason City’s finest vs. MC’s firefighters, has become a popular event in North Iowa. Proceeds from the fund raising game go to the North Iowa Make-A-Wish organization.
